Circles packed in a square
Solution
if we draw an infinite number of circles packed in a square using the method shown below, will the sum of circles areas approach the square’s area?
There are spaces that will be always white, but the areas are going to be equal.
The circles will densely cover the square, but there will still be an infinite number of white spaces.
The same thing can be said about how the irrational numbers densely cover the interval from 0 to 1, yet there are infinitely many rational numbers between any two irrational numbers.
